What is a RTL workshop like?
At a typical workshop, families enjoy sharing experiences, view a video clip, engage with their child in a related activity, learn about PBS Kids web sites, read a story and receive a storybook to take home. They usually last about one hour.

Does WGVU do RTL workshops in Spanish?
Yes, we do many workshops for Spanish speaking families. We have video clips, activities and books in Spanish. The site may be asked to provide a translator.
Is there a charge?
No, RTL workshops are funded by generous contributions from community foundations and WGVU members.

We come to you! WGVU covers most of West Michigan: Muskegon, Holland, Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and Grand Rapids areas.
Who does WGVU do RTL workshops for?
Workshops can be tailored for your group. We frequently do workshops for Head Start, Great Start Readiness Program, Parents as Teachers, Libraries, Preschool Parent Night, etc.
