Kim Brummel is a Business Development Coordinator for WGVU and has been with the station for 6 1/2 years. She was raised in Caledonia, Michigan and now resides in Grand Rapids. Kim spent her youth riding her horse, and was involved in 4-H and equestrian activities for several years.
Kim is a 2003 graduate of Grand Valley State University and has a Bachelor of Arts in Communications. She is delighted to still be involved with and working for GVSU. Her job is to obtain corporate support for WGVU-TV, Radio, special events, and much more.
Kim’s favorite aspect of her work is helping companies and organizations find the best strategy to market and showcase their image. She has really found her passion to be with health-related and special awareness programs. “It’s extremely rewarding to help find funding and support for projects that deal with important topics in order to better educate the West Michigan community,” says Kim. “WGVU is unique in how it brings to light certain things that might otherwise go unobserved.”
In her spare time, Kim enjoys traveling, boating, physical fitness, and living life to the fullest. She values her friends and wonderful family and is the proud aunt of four nieces and two nephews. Kim is looking forward to the summertime and what the future may hold.
