It’s hard to believe that another year of WGVU Cool Teachers have already been selected! Congratulations to all of our winning teachers, and to all of the great kids who nominated their Cool Teachers to win. We received hundreds of letters from all over West Michigan, and every month it was hard to decide who was the Coolest Teacher of all!

All of our Cool Teachers and their students enjoyed a pizza party for the whole class and got to be on WGVU-TV for three weeks. The teachers and the students that nominated them also received a free train trip to Chicago for their families. We’ve had a great year, and we hope that you’ll join us next year! Cool Teacher time starts again in September, so be ready…

And, on May 12, all of the Cool Teachers and the students that nominated them will get to meet each other at our end of the year Cool Teacher Banquet. They’ll also hear Sharon Nunnelee, Director of West Michigan Trails & Greenways Coalition and enjoy dinner with all of us here at WGVU.
